Steve Palframan, Managing Director

Steve has held the position of Managing Director since our business’ inception. He was a Partner in the Consultancy Division of the World Firm of Price Waterhouse until 1993 when he became the Managing Director (and majority shareholder) of the SPAR Botswana Group – a supermarket chain employing over 300 people with an annual turnover in excess of $35m.

Since moving to Australia in 2001, he has been the Managing Director (and shareholder) of a glass and aluminium manufacturing business (2002 – 04) and Chief Executive of a public unlisted Biotech company (2004 – 06), during which time he was involved in capital raising in Australia, Europe and Asia.

Steve has an MBA from Buckinghamshire.

Michael Foulds, Non Executive Director

Michael worked as a Mining Engineer and Mine Manager at various operations between 1985 and 1995, following which Michael became both a major shareholder and Company Director in a number of private enterprises.

Michael currently holds the following Board and Executive positions:

*   Director/CEO – Carlowen Pty Ltd – provides contract underground mining services.

*   Director – CPC Engineering Pty Ltd – provides engineering, fabrication and maintenance services.

*   Director/CEO – Goldfields Mine Management Pty Ltd – owns and operates nickel mines in Kambalda WA.

*   Director ISIS Capital Limited – business asset financier.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering, First Class Mine Managers Certificates in both Western Australia and the Republic of Fiji and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Adam Jackson, COO

Adam Jackson

Prior to his involvement with Pacific Solar / UNSW as the National Sales and Marketing Manager, where he established a national distribution network including partnerships with AGL, Energex and Country Energy, Adam ran his own corporate wellness business operating a chain of corporate gyms.

Since 2004 Adam has been involved in the financial sector and has over a decade of strategic financial management experience in the financial services and property sector. Adam joined Pula Capital in 2013 and has held the position of Chief Operations Officer since 2014.

Adam holds tertiary qualifications in the fields of Finance, Marketing and Neuro Linguistics and is a licenced Finance Broker and Real Estate Agent. Adam is also a member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia and the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales.

Julian Harris, CFO

Julian Harris

Julian is a Chartered Accountant and former audit partner in the World Firm of Price Waterhouse working in both the Audit and Small Business Accounting divisions of the firm from 1980 to 1990.

In 1990 he left Price Waterhouse to take up the post of Chief Financial Officer of Standard Chartered Bank in Botswana – a position he held until 1993.

In 1993 he became the Financial Director (and one third shareholder) of the SPAR Botswana Group – a supermarket chain employing over 300 people with an annual turnover in excess of $35 million.

He sold his share of the SPAR business in 2005 and moved to Pietermaritzburg where he took up the position of General Manager of the Pietermaritzburg Country Club.

In 2009 he moved to Perth and has held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Pula Capital since then.

Danielle Williams, Credit Manager

Danielle joined Pula Capital in 2007 and is Credit Manager of Pula Capital and is responsible for the management of the loan approvals process,ensuring the company’s credit matrix and compliance procedures are strictly adhered to.

Danielle studied a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Stellenbosch University in South Africa prior to relocating to Perth in 2005. She has a Diploma in Credit Management, a Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking and completed her Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking Management in August 2015.

Bronwynne has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate, commercial and financial credit collections.

As an experienced Collections Officer, Bronwynne’s key areas of expertise lie in process development, improvement and integration of collections and recovery systems, partner communications, analytics and workflow.   She is also a major driver behind our system improvement processes to improve collections, recovery results and efficiencies.

Bronwynne also holds a Bachelor of Psychology from Massey University in New Zealand.
